Most sparkling water is injected with CO₂ at bottling. On this shelf the gas comes up with the water itself, from volcanic or deep geologic sources — the provenance distinction connoisseurs pay for, even though CO₂ tastes much the same either way.
Natural carbonation usually travels with serious minerality (the same geology drives both), so expect fuller-bodied waters here, ranked by total dissolved solids.
