High-silica waters

27 waters at 25 mg/L silica or more — the "beauty mineral" shelf, ranked by SiO₂.

Silica (SiO₂, dissolved from volcanic rock) is the "beauty mineral" — the basis of the Fiji and Volvic pitch, marketed for skin, hair and connective tissue, with little proven effect on taste. There is no regulatory line for it, so ours is a house cut at 25 mg/L, set deliberately below Volvic's 31.7 so a routine data revision cannot flip its classification.

One honesty note: silica is the least-published mineral on labels. A water missing from this list may simply not publish a number — we never guess, so unsourced silica stays unranked rather than invented.
