Two American spring waters off the same shelf and at opposite ends of the mineral scale. Ice Mountain draws from Michigan ground and arrives at TDS 260, with 62.5 mg/L calcium, 25 magnesium and a 299 mg/L bicarbonate cushion, real body for a mass-market bottle. Poland Spring is a blend of Maine springs at TDS 50, a fifth of the minerals, soft and low and unremarkable by design.
